As one of Woolf's masterpieces, Mrs. Dalloway has preliminarily depicted Woolf's concept of androgyny. Through analyzing specific characters and plots from the perspective of androgyny, this paper interprets the feminine consciousness of seeking female independence and harmony between male and female under the oppression of patriarchy in Mrs. Dalloway.
