广泛查阅相关文献，了解民办高校学生的特点，掌握民办高校学生教育的研究现状。搜集资料，提出问题。确定论文的结构和组成部分。从民办高校学生的思想特点、生理特点、心理特点出发，分析在民办高校实施以问题为导向（Problem-based Learning）的任务式教学方法的可行性和必要性，以提高民办高校英语的教学效果和学习效率。同时，要求学生能提出自己的观点，能运用英语写作能力将自己的思想清晰地表达出来。
