in the era of big data, the development of artificialintelligence and acceleration of globalization change the outdated understandingof certain professions and industries, and also enrich the connotation of them.progress of technology and translation industry regulation helps to redefinetranslation, thus the old profession acquires new meaning over time. this papershould analyze the modification of the item “translation” in occupationalclassification of the people's republic of china to see the major changes betweenthe first and revised versions, and discusses reasons from the perspective ofnational strategies, language service industry and experience from othercountries. then the impacts of this evolvement and the prospect of translationand interpreting profession are also discussed.

secondly, the emerging ai language-service products greatly affectthe translation industry, so the paper should also explore the new approach to translatingtraining based on the analysis of the market. for professional interpreting andtranslating training, there is an urgency to establish the corpus and aprofessional interpreting training system to help students further enhance thepractice efficiency.
