Because of various reasons, Dickens has somespecial feelings for orphans that became the main stream in his literarycreations. This paper will analyze the motives and emotions of Dickens “orphancomplex” by means of Jung’s analyticalpsychology to find out why Dickens is so obsessed with “orphans” and what is hispurpose by writing orphans.
