Qualitative and Quantitative Studies of Oligosaccharides in Medicinal Plants

Abstract:Atractylodes rhizome as a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine, its pharmacological effects are very wide, and also very effective in clinical applications, but due to geographical differences, the active ingredients in different habitats are often very different. In this experiment, oligosaccharides from the leaves of different habitats were used as the research object, and the oligosaccharides in the herb were extracted by ethanol reflux method, and the oligosaccharide content was determined by the phenol-sulfuric acid method and high performance liquid chromatography to evaluate the origin of each region. The level of oligosaccharides in the herb. Through orthogonal experimental design, the extraction conditions were optimized to obtain the optimal extraction conditions for oligosaccharides. Since the oligosaccharides have no UV absorption, ELSD can be used as a detector of oligosaccharides. Therefore, HPLC-ELSD was used to analyze the extracted oligosaccharides and optimize the analysis conditions. The oligosaccharides collected from different habitats were extracted and analyzed using the optimized extraction and separation methods. The experimental results showed that the content of oligosaccharides from different origins varies greatly, and lays the foundation for quality control research of Atractylodes lancea. basis.
