People using these advanced technologies can be more convenientand efficient reuse of resources, rapid exchange of information. With the continuous improvement ofscience and technology, the management of school students is a very importantpart of the educational administration and it is the core and foundation of theentire management. Due to further expand of the size of the school, the numberof students increased year by year and the management of student situation hasbecome more and more complex. Student information management system isthe teaching, educational administration application software. This schoolstudent management system is the educational administration system to summarizethe data, one of the more important link in management, through the upgradingof educational administration system, can be very handy for the school withinthe existing each kind of information do a more intuitive understanding, so asto improve the management efficiency, saving a large amount of manpower and materialresources.

According to the software lifecycle theory to the university educational administration managementsystem is studied. Wide-ranging university educational administrationmanagement system, available to system administrators, teachers and students,the school educational administration management system can be divided intoadministrator subsystem, management subsystem of the teachers and student’smanagement system.

My thesis mainly studies the college studentmanagement subsystem design and implementation of educational administrationsystem.

Different reports andQueries can be generated based of vast options related to students, batch,course, teacher / faculty, exams, semesters, certification and even for theentire college.

The main objective ofusing this management tool is for academic institutions range from schools andcolleges to simplify their administrative process involving personnelmanagement, inventory and payments.

The additionalfeature which is added in this tool is messaging services like SMS amp; E-mailwhich means tool can able to send messages to parents regarding studentsactivities and school events. This system eases the process of tracking arecord with its in built search option. For each and every organization, BusinessProcess Reengineering (BPR) is important because BPR is a management approachaiming at improvements by means of elevating efficiency and effectiveness ofthe processes that exist within and across organizations.

There are manysoftware development companies that offer student management system for schoolsin the market. Through the researches, it is observed that there are featureswhere this project can adopt and implement. One of it will be with addition ofnew course or class, or even upgrading of students to the next level, theschool administrator can easily register all of them within a particular classinto the new one using just a page and not having to register one at a time.With this feature, it helps administrator to save time as well as increasetheir efficiency

My systemwill be built by c# and Visual Studio then the system to use the database SQLServer 2000 finally to use ADO.NET to access the database technology.
