Abstract
This article chose to design a steering system for an unmanned intelligent garbage transfer vehicle. First of all, the development of the country's development support for the automotive industry, the development prospects of driverless garbage transfer vehicles, the advantages of smart steering and the advantages of rack and pinion gear have been made known.
The automobile industry is an important force for promoting a new round of scientific and technological revolutions and industrial changes. It is an important support for the construction of a strong manufacturing country and an important pillar of the national economy. The healthy and sustainable development of the automobile industry is related to the daily trips of the people, the smooth circulation of social resources and the overall leap of ecological civilization. At present, new technologies such as information and communication, new energy, and new materials are being integrated with the automotive industry. The industrial ecology has undergone profound changes, and the competitive landscape has been completely reshaped. China's auto industry has entered a period of strategic transformation from upgrade to upgrade and from big to strong.
The garbage transfer vehicle can mechanically and intelligently load and unload the garbage transfer container, realize intelligent transportation of sealed urban living garbage, avoid secondary pollution caused along the way during the garbage transfer process, and is the ideal equipment for urban sanitation work. The garbage transfer vehicle can realize the conversion between the upright and horizontal stations of the turnover mechanism, and has the advantages of compact structure design, automatic loading and unloading, high work efficiency, stable operation, easy operation, low maintenance cost, and energy saving and environmental protection.
The whole smart car is basically doing two things. One is the control of the direction, and the other is the control of the speed. Only when these two quantities are controlled properly (that is, the speed and direction can cooperate well) can smart driving be achieved. Smart cars require the vehicle to implement automatic steering, automatic braking and other functions at the executive end, which determines that the electric automatic steering will be standard for smart cars.
The rack and pinion steering gear is composed of a steering gear integrated with the steering shaft and a rack that is often integrated with the steering tie rod. Compared with other types of steering gear, the main advantages of the rack and pinion steering gear are: the structure is simple and compact; the housing is made of aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy die casting, the quality of the steering gear is relatively small; the transmission efficiency is as high as 90%; After a gap occurs between the gear and the rack due to wear, the spring mounted on the back of the rack and close to the pinion can be used to adjust the spring. The gap between teeth can be automatically eliminated, which not only improves the stiffness of the steering system. It can also prevent impact and noise during operation; the volume occupied by the steering gear is small; there is no steering rocker arm and straight pull rod, so the turning angle of the steering wheel can be increased; and the manufacturing cost is low.
