1. 研究目的与意义（文献综述）

The recognition of IELTS increased dramatically, especially in China Mainland. It is reported that the amount of IETLS candidates exceeds 3 million in 2016. Due to the specialism of text paper arrangement in IETLS, a large number of IELTS training school emerged everywhere and developed dramatically. There are many different types of questions in reading part, especially for multiple choice. The questions not only focus on the details in passages, but also pay much attention to the main idea of whole passage. Because of the large difference between Chinese and western thinking, it still existed in the language text paper arrangement. Therefore, the application of the text-prep tracks is more potential than domestic language text. This is one of the most significant reasons in the flourish of training industry. Most of the students could get their ideal marks with the training like this even without the equivalent language ability. Namely, it may loss the original purpose of IELTS. It obviously showed in the marks of Chinese mainland candidates that the large difference between listening, reading part and writing, speaking part of marks.

At this time, the British Council, official host of IELTS noticed the specialism in China mainland, and announced measures to deal with the statement. For example, if the difference between listening, reading part and writing, speaking part of marks is unreasonable, the British Council will recheck it or change another text paper just in China mainland. The phenomenon that the mark can not reflect the real language ability is alleviated due to these measures,while the text-oriented skills still exist. These measures caused the text become harder and harder in Chin mainland, which is quite unfair for Chinese candidates.

2. 研究的基本内容与方案

The thesis will mainly focus on the analysis of the exam skills and forecast of the IELTS and the impact on the reliability. It will be discussed in the following parts: First will be the introduction of IELTS. Then some information about the development of IELTS training institution in China. For instance, the Tuya Union which is famous for the practical text skills and the Ipredicting with accurate text forecast. Third part is about After that, this paper will probe into the details of these skills and how they influence the reliability of IELTS. In the end, it will give some reasonable advice to make IELTS with a high reliability and operatability.
