1. 研究目的与意义(文献综述)
Research purpose:Education contributes prominently to national development, self-evident is the role of education in shaping the future. As a link with higher education, high school period matters greatly with the consensus reached by all walks of life. It can be said that high school is a crucial stage to determine the direction of life, which should be highlighted and obtain constantly optimisation.Through considerable years of practice, China's high school education system has cultivated numerous high-level constructive talents for domestic and even worldwide universities and colleges, nevertheless, with the passage of time, several problems have been exposed and require extreme concerns. A reform is imperative. One of the efficient means to promote the reform is to refer to the effective experience harvested by other countries.This dissertation focuses on the practical experience of American high school education, analyses the differences of various high school from multiple dimensions, summarises the incentives of their specific education models, and refines the reference experience that is beneficial to our reform according to the historical development and actual situation of the United States.Research significance:Reform is like "crossing the river by feeling the stones", which is full of risks and uncertainties. The experience gathered from effective practice will undoubtedly serve as a beacon-like aid in facilitating the reform process.As one of the most developed countries in education, the United States must have its merits in the training of senior high school students. High school students in the US are not divided into art or science but get more access to comprehensive courses. Through the multi-dimensional analysis and the comparison between the American high school education system and ours, this paper can provide precious and valuable reference experience for the education reform.1. The theoretical and practical causes of differentiation concluded in this study can be summarised as a reference for universal and exclusive application.2. Due to the complicated situation triggered by many factors such as history, population, economic development and so on, all localities have encountered respective problems in carrying out the reform. In order to adjust measures to indigenous conditions and apply various methods flexibly, it will be very salutary to make a comprehensive reference to the practical experience of different schools in the United States.3. This study can also enrich the theoretical guidance of reform, provide novel perspective for domestic related fields, encourage unique reform measures and accelerate the progress and development of education in our country.Existing researches analysis:Due to the particularity of high school education, those countries and regions with noted education are the first research objects selected by many countries in terms of reform.The United States enjoys a leading history of more than 90 years since it basically realised the modernisation of education in the late 1920s. Right after the end of the Civil War, people from all walks of life have contemplate the old American education system and conceived the future. A growing number of academic works, administrative bills and public discussions have made detailed studies of the issues in education, such as training standards, the allocation of resources.In China, scholars from many normal universities have comprehensively analysed the examination and curriculum of American high school education, pointed out critical facets, and some high school principals from Guangdong and Zhejiang have visited the United States to assess the rationality and feasibility of introducing some models, which are all valuable reference materials.This dissertation absorbs the existing experience and achievements, combined with the latest data to gestate innovative research.
