非真实性渲染三维动画的应用探索毕业论文

摘 要

随着近几年国内对于国产动画的各项投入加大,国产动画影视行业正处于一种呈加速发展的形势。在度过一段资金不足、人才缺乏、技术落后的艰难时期后,目前国内动画产业正在逐步发展中。而此时正是应该加强对动画技术的探索力度,扩大动画制作方式广度的时期。本文从目前的国内外动画产业形势分析切入,发现以美国为首的美系动画以及以日本为首的日系动画,都有其鲜明而成熟的表现风格和制作手段。相比国内动画制作,则存在动画表现形式和制作手段落后单一的问题。面向于一定程度解决以上问题的方向,本文讨论了三维动画中非真实性渲染技术的探索意义及应用价值。

非真实性渲染技术,即Non-photorealistic rendering(以下简称NPR),是基于计算机绘图技术,而又充分受影响于传统平面艺术风格的一种新兴艺术表达技术。其应用意义在于,既能够收益于计算机绘图的便捷性、准确性,又不失传统艺术风格的表现,并且根据搭配应用不同,可以再现很多不同的传统平面艺术风格。

本文在确立了NPR技术在降低成本、提高效率、扩充国产动画表现形式等方面具有积极意义的情况下,基于探索NPR技术在三维动画中的应用,选定了目前在国内外都具有人气和市场的日式赛璐璐平涂动漫风格为传统平面艺术表达形式,以目前大范围应用于日本动画产业链的NPR三维动画为目标,进行了动画制作的应用探索。目的在于体验NPR动画的制作流程,证实NPR技术新兴的表现风格以及相比传统制作手段而言低成本高效率的特点,以尝试缓解国内动画表现形式和制作手段落后单一的问题。

本文记录了在设计实践阶段,NPR三维动画的所有制作流程。在最后目标为完成NPR三维动画的情况下,作为传统三维动画的制作流程,包括了人物设计、电脑模型制作、人物角色绑定、模型贴图绘制、模型UV拆分、人物动作制作、动画镜头制作、镜头渲染、特效制作、后期合成等阶段,为了迎合NPR风格三维动画作品,将要产生一些必要的调整。通过一系列的探索应用,最终完成了接近于日本商业形式NPR风格三维动画的制作,并参加了信息艺术设计系的毕业设计展览,取得成功。

Abstract

With the increase in domestic investment in recent years, the domestic animation film and television industry is in a situation of accelerated development. In the lack of a lack of funds, lack of talent, technology behind the difficult period, the current domestic animation industry is gradually developing. At this point it is necessary to strengthen the exploration of animation technology, expand the breadth of the animation production period. This article from the current domestic and international animation industry situation analysis cut into the United States led by the Department of American animation and Japanese-led Japanese animation, has its distinctive and mature performance style and production means. Compared to domestic animation production, there are animated forms of expression and production methods behind a single problem. This paper discusses the exploration significance and application value of non-authenticity rendering technology in 3D animation in order to solve the above problems in a certain extent.

Non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) is a kind of emerging art expression technology based on computer graphics technology, which is fully influenced by traditional graphic art style. Its application significance is that both can benefit from the convenience of computer graphics, accuracy, but also the performance of traditional art style, and according to the different applications can be used to reproduce a lot of different traditional graphic arts style.

In this paper, based on the NPR technology in the three-dimensional animation in the application of NPR technology to reduce the cost, improve efficiency, expand the form of domestic animation has a positive significance, the selection at home and abroad are popular and market Of the Japanese-style celluloid flat painted animation style for the traditional form of graphic expression, to the current large-scale application of the Japanese animation industry chain NPR three-dimensional animation as the goal, the animation application of the exploration. The aim is to experience the production process of NPR animation, to prove the emerging performance style of NPR technology and to reduce the efficiency of low-cost and high-efficiency compared with traditional production methods in order to try to alleviate the problems of domestic animation form and production method.

This article records all the production processes of NPR 3D animation during the design practice phase. In the final goal for the completion of NPR three-dimensional animation, as a traditional three-dimensional animation production process, including the character design, computer model production, character role binding, model mapping, model UV split, character action production, animation production , Lens rendering, special effects production, post-synthesis stage, in order to meet the NPR-style three-dimensional animation works, will have to produce some necessary adjustments. Through a series of exploratory applications, the final completion of the Japanese business form NPR style three-dimensional animation production, and participated in the information art design department of the graduation design exhibition, to be successful.

第1章 绪论

1.1 引言

NPR技术基于现代计算机图形绘图技术,在能够得益于其绘制便捷,精准的基础上,为了再现传统平面艺术风格从而发展而来。在动画制作这一领域,从近代发展到当前,经过了纯手绘的传统制作,到得利与计算机技术的发展而衍生的利用计算机的绘图、模型制作技术,又出现了为了不丢失传统艺术风格而发展的NPR技术。在三维动画这一块,NPR技术具体是指,对模型的轮廓线(包括外轮廓线、内折线、相交线等)进行计算而生成的描线,以及对模型的模拟光照得出的明暗进行计算而生成的涂色风格这两部分的艺术风格化所生成的逼近某一种传统艺术风格的成品CG。而将三维动画中的每一帧赋予这种NPR技术的风格化后,所形成的的帧动画就是所谓的NPR动画。这种动画在本质上属于计算机制作的三维CG动画,但在观赏效果上,不同于传统三维动画所追求的极致的仿真实性,根据所使用的风格化不同,能够形成模仿不同传统平面艺术风格动画的效果。
