摘 要

竹制工艺品虽然在民间工艺史上未有突出艺术地位，但却因工艺简单，材料易得，朴实耐用，用途广泛深得人民的喜爱，随着新经济的到来，传统竹艺正面临机遇与挑战。室内装饰设计发展到今时，人们在享受空间的同时，也对室内装饰陈设设计的精神文化，个性化的方面要求加深。现代对竹功能需求，文化寓意等方面都有新的需求。

本文是通过对传统竹艺文化的探索与研究，保留有价值的部分，传统工艺和现代工艺的结合。通过现代审美设计。在生态文明的视野下，结合传统竹艺工艺并关注装饰与陈设艺术的新风向的同时，传承与发扬使传统竹工艺在室内装饰与陈设设计。赋予更高的价值。提高竞争力。

论文主要研究了：重新解读竹文化，手工艺的问题，从设计角度上，与文化和手工艺以的紧密的结合的方式，成功的实践案例。探索形成比较符合现代审美的设计风格

竹材具有生长周期短，环保可再生的等属性，适合现代的生态环保观，和可持续发展，曾经在历史舞台占有重要的历史地位，涉及到人们的方方面面，是民间不可或缺的物品。在民间家庭生活中随处可见，在文人的心中更以“竹”来表达自己的气节。然而随着现代的发展，却慢慢消失与人们的视野当中。主编，竹雕的传统手工艺也进入了非物质文化遗产目录。是中国文化濒临消失的尴尬境地。让竹材重新的重新利用变的尤为重要。现代竹艺正面临发展的机遇和挑战。
