Abstract】This subject is about a building of Siyang County North No. 1 Primary School Building design. The building area is 5005m, the principal part of the structure is four floors, local five floors, the height of building is 26 m . The distance between the indoor and the outdoor is 450mm.The main structure of the project using cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame structure, the foundation uses under the reinforced concrete separate foundation, seismic fortification intensity is 7 degrees (0.10g).The calculation of engineering seismic effect of the bottom shear method; the "D value method" to calculate the internal force of the frame under the action of earthquake, a simplified method was used to calculate vertical load.Using two bending moment distribution method to calculate the internal force of the frame under vertical loads; calculated combination of internal forces and reinforced concrete beam column frame structure, control of all sections, design and part of beam, plate and other components of the stairs.There are two parts in this paper, including architecture design and structure design. Structure design includes the calculation by hand and the calculation by computer. In the architectural design, the service function is the most important factor of determining each floor plan, while the consideration of aesthetics is also included. Architecture design includes drawing the construction graph of architecture and the acquaintance with the software of AUTOCAD and Tarch, there are 12 pieces of construction graph of architecture. In the part of structure design, the upper structure and the cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame structure, and calculation by hand includes: choice of structure form ,load calculation,the design of the slab on floors and the second beams, architecture design , basement design ,foundation design and stair design and the rain booming, etc. As the compare of structure plan, the principal part of the structure is adopted reinforced concrete frame structure system, which is designed by the software PkPM. There are 8 pieces of construction graph of structure.
