This paper aims at discussing the ecofeminist Scarlett in Gone with the Wind. Ecofeminism is a major genre of feminism and arises a vanguard environmentalist trend popular in the 1970s. Ecofeminism tries to find a special relationship between the derogatory women and nature that is prevalent in society and it also strive to show the links between various human oppressions, while demonstrating oppression and opposing various forms of domination and oppression. This paper serves as an encouragement to modern females that seek independent place in society and intimate relation with nature.
