methods and procedures of the study

first of all, i used references analyzing. i looked up resources about chinese and western traditional festivals culture and internet communication. also, i needed to have a systematic understanding of the research achievements of traditional festival culture, spiritual connotation and what realistic significance that social and economic development give to the festivals. sources of information include: domestic academic papers, cnki, papers, periodicals, newspapers, web materials and official documents. the former academic papers could guide me how to come up with an outline.

second, i collected some data that relevant to the influence of the traditional festivals and how people think about their cultural connotation and commercial values. as data is a highly persuasive message not like text-only papers. i chose newspapers and microblog to help me and at the same time i could learn how the two kinds of media affect the current situation of the traditional festivals.
