1. 研究目的与意义(文献综述包含参考文献)
Introduction Translation studies conducted since China#8217;s reform and opening up has played a pivotal role in the establishment of translation as a discipline in this country. Whether in introducing insightful theoretical perspectives on the translational practice, laying a conceptual foundation for the discipline, promoting translation-related pedagogy, enriching the teaching of foreign languages, fostering a historical understanding of the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, or enhancing China#8217;s soft power, remarkable achievements have been made by Chinese translation scholars. Having gained its disciplinary status and succeeded in refuting popularly held misassumptions such as ”translation is not amenable to theory” or ”theories of translational are useless”, however, how translation studies should further develop itself in China poses a formidable challenge to its practitioners. Literature review With the human beings entering the information age, the rapid development of transport and communication technology has changed people#8217;s concept of time and space and made people interact with people of different cultural backgrounds in a short time, which has turned the huge world we live in into a small global village. Recently, many scholars have studied intercultural perspective transformation, they think that as an international communication language, English plays an important role in daily international exchanges and cooperation. Due to the unique cultural identity of all countries in terms of values, religious beliefs and customs, learning a language also means learning a culture for foreign language learners. Zhao Jiangning is a teacher at Anhui Normal University, he believes that the relationship between language and culture determines that language must pay attention to cultural factors, and language is the necessary context for cultural use. Language differences are caused by the national psychological differences. At the same time, language and culture are evolving. Attention should be paid to the similarities and differences between cultures and to the general trend of cultural integration so as to facilitate language learning and use. Translation as a main means of intercultural communication is of great significance to the cultural strategy for China to become more integrated with the world, and thus the importance of the cultural dimension of translation is increasingly prominent. It is necessary to understand, from the global perspective, that translation activities are constrained by all kinds of factors, and untranslatability and intercultural reading have to be dealt with in the intercultural context. Over the years, we have seriously underestimated the obstacles caused by cultural difference, and as a result, translation out of Chinese, particularly into English, has been less than satisfactory. First and foremost, translation needs to address intercultural problems. Sun Yifeng considers that cultural untranslatability is obviously the greatest obstacle to communication. Untranslatability to a large extent is constrained by intercultural untranslatability, or low readability. The reception of translation invariably concerns intercultural readability, and if the readability is low, the artistic value of literary translation can barely manifest itself. Thus, it is imperative to formulate effective strategies for intercultural communication and explore aesthetic commonality of different nations in order to cross cultural barriers and transcend narrow cultural nationalism for purpose of establishing genuine intercultural communication. Professor Sun Yifeng is quite rich in literary translation, his opinion is unique. Professor Sun believes that ”cultural shift” or cultural factors are important components that cannot be ignored in translation. The development and implementation of any translation must properly handle the cultural connotations in its context. Professor Sun published ”A Perspective on Translation, interpretation and cultural#8212;Literary Translation and Translation Theory” in August 2004 as one of a series of translation and interdisciplinary studies published by Tsinghua University Press. The book provides an accurate description of the traits, especially the characteristics of literary translation and the key theoretical issues involved, and discusses in detail. The importance of translation-related theories systematically studied in depth. Translating realizes the communication between different languages and the meaning of the language is to a large extent relied on its context, especially the cultural context. Cultural context refers to the history and culture of the linguistic group where the participant is located, and so on. Generally speaking, the linguistic community can understand its meaning in discourse. By understanding the nature of culture and the importance of cultural context, to gather with the classification and analysis of contexts at home and abroad, one can gain a more in-depth understanding of cultural context. This understanding is conductive to promoting both parties to cross the linguistic gap and enhance each other#8217;s sense of identity, which is conductive to the effect of speech act. At the same time, translation involves many cultural factors, such as the translator#8217;s identity and translator#8217;s behavior, the purpose of translation activities and the strategies adopted, and the context of translation activities in intercultural context to get on. The analysis of the cultural factors in translation can make the translation activities more explicit and give full play to its function and role in the intercultural context exchange. Translation is not only a cross-linguistic communicative act, but also an intercultural communication process and communication activity that profoundly influence and will continue to influence the process of human civilization. Successful translators play an indispensible role in intercultural communication and promote the development of both parties. Methodology The purpose of this article is to explore intercultural perspective transformation in the English-Chinese Translation. In the first step, I will raise the issue of intercultural perspective transformation currently. In the second step, I will explore the cause of intercultural perspectives such as cultural differences and differences between social and historical backgrounds. In the third step, I will list some types of conversation of intercultural perspectives. References Feng, Q. H.【冯庆华】, 实用翻译教程.上海外语教育出版社,2002. Jiang, F. Ding, L. J.【江峰、丁丽军】, 实用英语翻译. 北京:电子工业出版社,2005.
