in the process of economic development around the world, there are more and more cross-cultural interactions among people with different cultures. legal culture, as one of the important parts of culture, plays a crucial role in this process.

in the structural changes of the world economy, politics, and culture, china is welcoming the era of confidence. road self-confidence, theoretical self-confidence, cultural-confidence, and system self-confidence promote the formation of a unique legal thought and the rule of law in the construction of "rule of law." the socialist legal culture with chinese characteristics was gradually formed and exported to the outside world along with the "china model", gradually occupying an important position in the world legal civilization system.

2. 研究的基本内容与方案

the domestic and foreign scholars study the importance of enhance the cultural confidence during the cross cultural interaction and the cultural transfer in the process of translation. but the author squares up that there are few scholars put cultural confidence, especially the legal cultural confidence and legal texts translation together. therefore the author decides to study this topic to find out the relationship between them. although some scholars have studied how the legal culture translates confrontation into coexistence in the age of globalization. the author notices that a distinctive socialist legal thinking and path with chinese characteristics has gradually formed and has begun to play an important role in the world legal civilization system under this background. the increase in the strength of all aspects has made the output of chinese legal culture to be possible. therefore, translators of legal texts should shoulder the responsibility of spreading the chinese traditional fine legal culture, thus fostering the legal cultural confidence in the process of translating. so this paper will study the rules or strategies of english translation of legal texts, which can further strengthen the establishment of chinese legal cultural confidence.

the author intends to use the literature analysis method and experience summary method to study ways of the english translation of legal texts to establish the legal cultural confidence. the author will read the professional articles about the topic and collect materials to make preparations for the paper.
